Don't forget mum on your big day

Dad’s naturally get to play a big part in their daughters wedding - giving away the bride, speeches, dad-daughter dance, and don’t forget sometimes paying for the event :) 

But it is important not to overlook mum on your big day. 

Here are some great ideas for including your mum. 

• have your mums sign your certificates and registry as your witnesses
• walk down the aisle with both mum and dad
• offer a toast to your mum’s and you could even extend it to all mums present 
• include a unity candle ceremony
• don't forget to have photos taken specially with your mum on the day 
• have your mums present the rings 
• include a rose presentation in your ceremony 
• and don't forget to thank your mum on the day!
